Carole Goeas


Prior to establishing CG&A, Carole served as Regional Political Director for the American Medical Association with political and grassroots experience in 27 states. She was also Director of Corporate Programs for the National Governors Association with membership development among Fortune 500 and 100 CEOs and CFOs. Carole has more than 21 years of professional political and fundraising experience and has worked on a variety of state and federal campaigns as well as the Capitol Hill offices of U.S. Congressman Tom Petri (WI) and former U.S. Congressman John Hiler (IN). Carole is a graduate of Taylor University in Indiana and the American Studies Program in Washington, DC. She has been a guest speaker at the Asian-American Campaign School, and taught PAC and major donor fundraising classes at The Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University, The Campaign Management Institute at American University, the AIPAC Political Management Seminar, and WISH List.

Jo Ann Pawela

Jo Ann Pawela began working for CGA in May 2011 after 20 years as a court reporter and in reporting agency management. 

Working closely with Carole, Jo Ann actively participates in all aspects of event planning, from pre-invitation venue arrangements to post-event wrap-up. Jo Ann also handles most day-to-day financial operations for CGA’s non-profit client, including membership and event billing, collecting and account reconciliation.  


Jo Ann and her husband live in Gaithersburg, MD.  They have two grown sons, Michael and Jake.
